Intentions

Welcome; the intention is to tell a little about my whereabouts, travel adventures, and issues at Elk Ridge, including when I will be on the ranch, when a great time to visit (send grandchildren), etc. Hopefully there will be different divisions for Travel, Ranch Activities, etc.

Keeping in touch

Wouldn't you know. .heading north to Moab from the ranch and this is what I woke up to.  Time to sit by the fire a bit,  listen to some music.
If I had any brains I'd just ski here.

??

Well would you look at that,  ESPN. "Every man a Wildcat! "

Winter trip

Just to keep in touch:
Heading out this am for ranch, spend a night, then head north into Colorado for several days skiing in Aspen, then next Saturday driving into Winter Park for a week. Ashley, Lynn, Noelle, ?Addie joining up there. And Robert Dyck, old good friend from Kansas.
Plan is to take it easy, spend this Tues night in Moab...and Of Course I seem to be heading into a Winter Storm warning w snow fall up to a foot in the lower elevations, northern Arizona/Colorado border and on north. Good grief. Will be great snow though for skiing!!
I'll keep in touch; another adventure, at least I won't be trying to fly around somewhere in this soup in Droughtbuster! Think Snow!

Dear All;
Attached is a page out of a Mountain Man book Sam gave me for Christmas.  It got me thinking about excellence.
It also got me thinking about hunting with Richard in Arizona and me walking along yakking loudly.  For that I apologize, and
I would like to try to do better in the future in our outdoor excursions.
Hope we hunt together soon.
