We certainly plan on making the trip! As a 66 year old Vietnam veteran with 49 years of experience getting to the mountains to ski, this is just a little bump in the road! See you in WP! I thought ahead yesterday and hooked up the rear blade on the tractor, in case it snowed today. Did not go to step two of the preparation and failed to mount the chains. Discovered the tractor was pretty much useless trying to pull 10" of snow let alone break the drifts so stopped to put on the chains. I thought my new rear tires would be better in snow, especially with the wheel weights. Good thing it was sleeting at the time; wouldn't want the task to be too easy! Spent the next 3 hours clearing the road, my driveway, and several driveways for the neighbors. I'm spent now and ready for a deep slumber, the kind that arrives after a good day's manual labor and a couple of bottles of beer. Intentions
Welcome; the intention is to tell a little about my whereabouts, travel adventures, and issues at Elk Ridge, including when I will be on the ranch, when a great time to visit (send grandchildren), etc. Hopefully there will be different divisions for Travel, Ranch Activities, etc.
